The Audit with Direct Install Incentive Program is offered to Maryland small business customers of Potomac Edison with demand not exceeding 60 kW by identifying beneficial energy efficiency projects that qualify for incentives.
All Audit with Direct Install Incentive Program incentive requests are subject to review and pre-approval by the Program Administrator prior to the audit work. To request an Audit with Direct Install Incentive Program incentive, submit a completed Audit with Direct Install Incentive Program application. A formal pre-approval letter must be received prior to the participant signing a contract with the audit service provider. After the pre-approval letter is received and the audit has been completed, the participant must submit a copy of the audit report to the Program Administrator in order to qualify to receive an incentive payment.
Audit with Direct Install Incentive Program incentives will be available for projects pre-approved and completed after January 1, 2015.
An assigned auditor will provide an audit of facilities and may identify and install immediate energy saving measures.
